vindici Inlagd 10 timmar sedan Dela Inlagd 10 timmar sedan Phuket police arrested 29-year-old Swedish national Pektas Tugui Tayar on 26 February following a fatal altercation in Patong. The suspect is accused of striking 58-year-old Australian tourist Alan Roger Jolliffe during a verbal dispute on Prachanukhrok Road. CCTV footage reportedly shows the suspect hitting the victim once in the face, causing him to fall and sustain a head injury. Mr Jolliffe was transported to hospital but was pronounced dead later that evening at approximately 10:23 pm. The suspect was detained at a hotel in Kathu and has reportedly admitted to the physical assault shown in the footage.
