Pass krävs

Är väll ingen nyhet att utlänningar ska ha passet med sig.  Och det gäller i hela Thailand vad jag vet och inta bara i Pattaya

Kopia har fungerat tidigare som jag har förstått det. Mig har dom inte kollat, troligen pga min otroligt ärliga uppsyn

Man går till en foto/data affär och skannar in passets id sida och visum sida, sen krymper man det till körkortsstorlek och sen laminerar man det med id på ena sidan och visumet på andra sidan -> Lätt att bära med sig i plånboken och det borde väl rimligtvis räcka för polisen tillsammans med ett giltigt thai körkort.

Det kanske funkar och jag har aldrig behövt visa passet för någon polis under alla dessa år. Det kanske är andra tider nu

100 Armed Police Raid Zoe in Yellow, No Criminals Found

CHIANG MAI: Last night, 18th February, one hundred police officers and tourist police officers raided and roped off the Zoe in Yellow entertainment complex, refusing to let tourists go, testing urine for drugs and arresting tourists without a passport on them.

At 10pm last night, the police raided the complex, quickly roping off the area with police tape to stop anybody leaving or entering.

Some of the police were armed with assault rifles.

The police did random urine testing on many party goers but found no evidence for any substance abuse.

Hur är det med läsförståelsen ??

On this occasion 30 foreign nationals were briefly detained at the Tourist Police Station until they were able to produce their passports. We understand no further proceedings were taken against any of the detainees who were all released without charge.

No visa irregularities were found during the operation which featured officers from the Crime Suppression Division, Tourist Police and Marine Police.

När BIB gör sina raider strax innan löning, så duger det tydligen inte med kopior längre!

Åkte  från hua hin till kao lak 24seat nattbuss.. Alla på vägen blev stoppade tror det var tio mil innan suat thani,, Alla skulle visa pass eller id , jag tog fram min livrem som jag har både reseförsäkring och passkopia i ,,  veklade upp skrynklig men helt ok passkopia  , han frågade var mitt pass var  i ryggan svarade jag  men inga problem behövde inte visa passet.

Visade passet när jau hadde vart å turat idau, frågade polistöserna om jau såg ut som ett skäggbarn? Det har vi ente sagt svarade dom :-* Trevliga ungdomar!
